You are the listeners at Origioke Events. There, you play the Origioke Game creating a fun and entertaining group song and enjoy judging original songs presented. Your scores are a key part of the judging for our national contest. You can also play the FREE Origioke Home Game with family and friends! No ads, no registrations, your info will NOT be shared.

Songwriters

Enroll and Enter Original Songs

Songwriters share their original songs across 17 major genres; Pop, Country, R&B, and many more. Songwriters need NOT be present to enter the contest to have their original song accessible online for all present to hear and judge, They can add their songs to the Origioke Song Depository and Contest for only $3/song/year! Full terms below.

DJs and Origioke Organizers

Register and Lead Events

You can easily become an Origioke Organizer. Create an account and submit your event, as you present 15 songs per session to the crowd to score. You guide them in the group creation of their own song! Organizers and DJ control the submitted playlists and manage the Origioke Game. You and/or the host venue keep any fees you charge for entry.

Origioke Welcomes You

Origioke champions and applauds all who contribute to the growing body of incredible music that enlivens the world. It provides songwriters with stages, recognition and the opportunity to win prize money. Host a sanctioned Origioke event and follow the contest as songs enter the Origioke Song Library and are automatically entered into the national Origioke contest! Whether fully human‑authored or created with AI‑assistive tools like Suno, Udio, Loudly, Soundverse, BandLab, or Soundraw, your music belongs here as long as you own all rights to the composition and recording.

Origioke accepts original songs created:

fully by humans
with AI‑assistive platforms that grant users full rights to perform and distribute their compositions

Platforms include Suno, Udio, Loudly, Soundverse, BandLab, Soundraw, and others that provide clear user rights.

SONGWRITERS: ORIGINALS ONLY

All entrants must hold full legal rights to the music they submit. No covers. No samples. No remixes. No derivative works. Only original compositions you fully control. Under current U.S. law, fully AI‑generated works without meaningful human authorship cannot be copyrighted. Origioke only accepts songs where the human creator holds full rights to the composition and recording. Meaningful human authorship includes human‑written lyrics, creative direction, and artistic decisions that shape the final song. Works generated entirely by AI without human creative contribution are not eligible.

WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU SUBMIT A SONG

Your song enters the Origioke Ecosystem for an entire year:

Home Game — your song can appear in Origioke’s interactive game mode
Live Events — your song can be played at Origioke Events hosted worldwide
Origioke Radio — your song may appear in a limited, curated radio rotation
Songwriter Dashboard — track reactions, analytics, and creative growth
Community Exposure — listeners discover your work across multiple surfaces

U.S. Contest Entries: $3 per song per year
Global Showcase Entries: $2 per song per year

The winning songwriter receives a professional studio experience where industry experts help transform the winning composition into a fully human‑crafted, broadcast‑ready recording. This includes:

🎧 How Origioke Radio Works

Origioke Radio gives your song a small, curated spotlight — just enough for new listeners to discover you without replacing your streaming income. Plays are limited, non‑commercial, and promotional only.

What this means for you:
Your song may be previewed on Origioke Radio to help new fans find you. You keep all rights. No royalties are generated. No PRO involvement (BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, etc.).
You stay fully in control of your music.

By submitting a song or performing at an Origioke event, participants affirm:

1. Original Works Only

All songs must be original compositions created by the participant.
AI‑assistive tools are allowed only if they grant full user rights.
The participant must own all rights to perform, share, and distribute the work.

2. No Unauthorized Use

No samples, covers, remixes, mashups, or derivative works.
No third‑party copyrighted material without explicit written permission.

3. Responsibility & Liability

Participants are solely responsible for the content they present.
Origioke™ and SongDepository™ assume no liability for infringement or misrepresentation.

4. Origioke Practice

Origioke is a community gathering, not a licensing body.
Performances do not transfer ownership or copyright.

U.S. National Songwriting Contest (Skill‑Based)
The Origioke™ U.S. National Songwriting Contest is a skill‑based competition where winners are determined solely by audience scoring and Origioke’s musician‑designed algorithm. Chance plays no role. This is not a lottery, sweepstakes, or game of chance. Entry fees cover platform and administrative costs and do not constitute a wager. Void where prohibited.
How It Works
Your original song is evaluated at Origioke Events and Home Games using four published skill‑based criteria: Overall Appeal, Lyrics, Composition, and Sonic Originality. Anonymous audience scores are processed through our proprietary algorithm to generate regional and national rankings. Rankings update continuously as your song is heard at more events.
Entry Fee
$3 per song per year (U.S. entries only).
You retain full ownership of your music.
Prizes
🏆 U.S. National Contest Prizes (Minimum $5,000 Value)

The Origioke™ U.S. National Songwriting Contest awards a minimum $5,000 Grand Prize package, with prize values increasing as participation grows.

Grand Prize Package

$1,000 Cash Prize (minimum; may increase with participation)
$1,500 Professional Recording Session or equivalent production coaching if you are unable to attend in-person recording session at your expense.
$2,500 Artist Development Coaching Package
From Anaveno, Inc. — 10 hours of creative direction, songwriting guidance, video planning, social‑media strategy, and AI‑prompting support.

All awards are merit‑based, determined solely by audience scoring and Origioke’s musician‑designed algorithm. No chance elements are used.

Eligibility
Open to U.S. residents in jurisdictions where skill‑based contests with entry fees are legal. Songs must be original works you fully own. PRO royalties are waived for Origioke‑branded events.
